During the period of 10-12 October 2018 in Setubal, Portugal, was carried out the third meeting “ How to make your city the best place for living” of the project “Future of Europe-reload”.

During the period of 10-12 October 2018 in Setubal, Portugal, was carried out the third meeting “ How to make your city the best place for living” of the project “Future of Europe-reload”. In the meeting took part 36 invited participants from the project partner`s countries: Municipality of Aksakovo (Bulgaria) with 7 participants including eng. Atanas Stoilov – Mayor of Aksakovo Municipality, Municipality of Nughedu Santa Vittoria (Italy) with 6 participants including Mr. Francesco Mura-Mayor of the municipality; Municipality of Ożarów Mazowiecki (Poland)with 6 participants; Municipality of Montsserat (Spain)with 6 participants, Municipality of Victoria (Romania) with 6 participants including mayor of the municipality -Daniel Cretu, Municipality of Shtip (Macedonia) with 5 participants including the Mayor-Blagoj Bochvarski.
The meeting was carried out in accordance of programme.
On the first day 10 October 2018 was carried out International conference “Why Europe? Europe in the eyes of non-europeans”. It was started with opening speeches of each of project partners.
The Mayor of Setubal –Mrs. Maria das Dores Meira made a observation of social policy in Setubal.

The voice of migrants were heart through video “Why Europe?”
The special guest of the conference was Eugenia Quaresma – representative of Ministry of Migration in Portugal. She made wide retrospective of migration process in Portugal.
Municipality of Setubal share their experience about migration and social problems. They present their successful project “Our neighbourhood, our city”. In this project migrants were enhance to recover, painting building, recover public place between blocks.
After lunch each partner present good practices about migration, positive and negative sites.

Municipality of Victoria Romania,
Municipality of Ozarow Mazowiecki, Poland;
Municipality of Aksakovo, Bulgaria.
The second day 11 October 2018 was practical day . Participants had opportunities to visit Division of Social Inclusion – Office for Immigrants and Ethnic Minorities. Here they learnt about the process of registration of migrants. After that they visit – Cd Cá – SEIES –place that migrants receive different kind of social services. From “cup of tea” to develop of business plan.
Participants visited Multicultural Centre. Here they had meeting with association leaders of migrants.
The day finished with multicultural dinner . The migrants association cooked tipical dishes from Angola, Brasil, Capa Verde, Ukraine, Romania and etc.
On the third day 12 October 2018 was day for social activities. Participants visited Dolphin Bay – one of the most beautiful bays of the world.
