Our fifth meeting 3-5 September 2019
During the period of 3-5 September 2019 in Nughedu Santa Vittoria , Sardinia, Italy was carried out the fifth meeting “Europe, closer to us” of the project “Future of Europe-reload”.

During the period of 3-5 September 2019 in Nughedu Santa Vittoria , Sardinia, Italy was carried out the fifth meeting “Europe, closer to us” of the project “Future of Europe-reload”. In the meeting took part 26 invited participants from the project partner`s countries: Municipality of Aksakovo (Bulgaria) with 5 representatives, Municipality of of Ożarów Mazowiecki (Poland) with 6 participants leaded by Mayor of the municipality – Paweł Kanclerz; Municipality of Montsserat (Spain)with 3 representatives, Municipality of Victoria (Romania) with 4 participants, leaded by Mayor of the municipality- Daniel Cretu, Municipality of Setubal (Portugal) with 4 participants, Municipality of Shtip (Macedonia) with 4 participants leaded by Mayor of the municipality- Blagoj Bochvarski. The meeting was hosted by Mayor of Municipality of Nughedu Santa Vittoria – Francesco Mura.

On the first day 3 September 2019 was carried out International conference “Knowns and unknowns places in our local places”. It was started with opening speeches of Francesco Mura - Mayor of Municipality Nughedu Santa Vittoria and speeches of all representatives of delegations.
Their opinion of the touristic industry, main barriers and how to keep identity and environment and the same time developed tourism shared President of the regional council Christian Solinas, the commercial director of the Costa Smeralda airport of Olbia, Lucio Murru, the president of the cooperative Archeotur Massimo Muscas, the regional president of the Anci, Emiliano Deiana, the mayor of Cagliari Paolo Truzzu.
After the lunch Neli Petrova- project coordinator launched the Interactive Map “Knowns and unknowns places” with famous place for each partner country and an unknown local place of each partner territory. The map can be found on the project site here
Each partner presented cultural, historical, touristic sightseeing and landmarks.

On the second day 4 September 2019 was carried out seminar „How to make Europe and Europeans closer to us. The role of tourism” in the University of Oristano. Prof. Giuseppe Melis describe the main challenges of the contemporary world ,how to develop tourism and keep identity in the same time?. He put on the table the main problems and questions. The auditory was interested of the topic and discussed: How to keep local language and develop tourism?. The presentation of prof. Giuseppe Melis can be found here
Each partner presented cultural, historical, touristic sightseeing and landmarks.
On the third day 5 September 2019 the participants visited the west coast of the Sardinian island and had opportunity to observe touristic services, provided by local citizens. The participants met Sardinian hospitality and saw beautiful nature.
