Aksakovo Municipality in partnership with the Municipality of Setubal /Portugal, Nughedu Santa Vittoria /Italy, Ożarów Mazowiecki /Poland, Montserrat /Spain, Victoria /Romania and Shtip /Republic of Macedonia, and civil-society organization Bio Network Association are organizing a contest entitled “Europe in our dreams“ for the following categories:
The contest is organized within the framework of the project “Future of Europe-Reload”, co-financed by the program “Europe for Citizens” of the European Union.
The contest “Europe in our dreams” aims to encourage youth participation in the policy-making process at local and EU level, increase understanding of the benefits of the European Union, intercultural dialogue and mutual understanding, thinking about Future of Europe.
Start of the contest: 10.09.2019
End of the contest: 31.10.2019
The writing works can be essay, poetry or prose
The contest will be held in three age categories:
between 7 and 13 years
between 14 and 20 years
between 21 and 29 years.
Individuals under the age of 18 can take part with the consent of their parents or legal representatives.
The contest for writing works “ Europe in our dreams” is related to the democratic engagement and civic participation in the program "Europe for Citizens" . The program “Europe for Citizens” for the period 2014-2020 is an important tool which wants the 500 million residents of the Union to receive a more active role in the development of the Union. Through financing schemes and activities where the citizens can take part, the program promotes common history and shared values of Europe and promotes the sense of engagement with regards to the Union’s development, raising the European spirit and belonging to the European Union .
5.1 National round – Each project partner will arrange an internal round of assessment. The first 3 works will take part in national round. The works have to be translated into English.
5.2 Transnational round – The transnational assessment will be carried out during the sixth meeting “Europe in our dreams”, which will take place from 13 - 15 November 2019 in Victoria /Romania.
