Two European Friends
Alexsander, a Norwegian child, had a dream: to leave for Sardinia. One day his mother told him they had to go right there. He already imagined Sardinia with a beautiful landscape and a rich nature. He packed his suitcase and immediately went to get the plane. Arrived on that beautiful island he met his uncle who made him visit Cagliari and told him that this was one of the oldest lands in all of Europe. Alexander didn't want to leave anymore. He wanted to gather flowers, plant his uncle's garden and go see the sheeps, he had never seen them before! While he was collecting flowers he saw two children playing and since he had no friends there he decided to make friendship with them, it was easy to understand each other, even if they didn't speak the same language. They found that although they lived in different countries they were the same. But coming back he saw that there was fire and then he thought that in the future he would have wanted them to no longer burn the earth.
After lunch they met again in the square and discovered that they had the same currency, the euro. Evening came and with his eyes closed Alexander thought of Europe, of the States, of the European flag. Then he immediately took his uncle's computer and inquired about Europe. He noticed that between Norway and Sardinia there were so many kilometers that separated them, that they had good schools. He was excited because it was nice to make friends with children from other distant countries.
