Our fourth meeting 3-5 April 2019

During the period of 3-5 April 2019 in Ożarów Mazowiecki, Poland, was carried out the fourth meeting “ How to make your city the best place for living” of the project “Future of Europe-reload”.

During the period of 3-5 April 2019 in Ożarów Mazowiecki, Poland, was carried out the fourth meeting “Europe belongs to youth” of the project “Future of Europe-reload”. In the meeting took part 29 invited participants from the project partner`s countries: Municipality of Aksakovo (Bulgaria) with 5 participants leaded by deputy Mayor of Aksakovo Municipality (Bulgaria)- Krasimira Dyankova, Municipality of Setubal (Portugal) with 5 participants leaded by Mayor of Setubal – Maria das Dores Meira, Municipality of Nughedu Santa Vittoria (Italy) with 5 participants leaded by deputy Mayor of the municipality – Gabriela Tatti; Municipality of Montsserat (Spain)with 5 participants, Municipality of Victoria (Romania) with 5 participants, Municipality of Shtip (Macedonia) with 4 participants. The meeting was hosted by Mayor of Municipality of Ożarów Mazowiecki (Poland) - Paweł Kanclerz and Andrzej Cichal - President of City council.

The meeting was carried out in accordance of programme

On the first day 3 April 2019  was carried out International conference “EUROPE BELONGS TO YOUTH”. It  was started with opening speeches of Paweł Kanclerz - Mayor of Municipality  of Ożarów Mazowiecki  and Andrzej Cichal  - President of City council.

In the frame of the programme was carried out Seminar “Whither the World, Whither Europe?” presented by Prof. Kołodko distinguished professor of economics and internationally recognized authority in the field of economic policy. A key architect of Polish economic reforms. He’s the author of New Pragmatism - original theory of economics. University lecturer, researcher, the author of numerous academic books.  As Polish Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance in 2002-03 he played a leading role in achieving the entry of Poland into the European Union.

The founder and Director of TIGER – It is Transformation, Integration and Globalization Economic Research at the Kozminski University in Warsaw.

He is an exceptional speaker who combines deep knowledge about the world and economic, social, cultural and political conditions in every country in a unique interdisciplinary way.

Young representatives of each partner share their point of view about "How do you imagine the future of Europe?"

Municipality of Shtip, Macedonia;

Municipality of Victoria, Romania

The first start representatives of Montserrat, Spain,

After the lunch meeting was continued by  Jacek Królikowski as moderator of Debate “How to reload Europe?”. As an expert of the Council of Europe, he participated in the programs implemented by this organization. In the years 2006 - 2008 he managed large training projects carried out by United Nations Development Programme and Delegation of the European Commission.

From 2008 he managed the training activities implemented by his Foundation as part of the Library Development Program.

On the second day 4 April 2019 was carried out Simulation Game “Youth Parliament Elections 2019”. Young people divided in Seven parties present their preselection programmes .  They spoke about environmental  issues, problems of young people, education, what they want to change in education.

They like to know how Europe help them? After the debate public voted. Winners in our “Youth Parliament Elections 2019” was “Euro Youth” , who share their opinion about future of Europe and the role of young people for it.

On the third day 5 April 2019 the participants visited Warsaw, where they learnt about history and culture of Poland, visited Born place of Fryderyk Chopin – a famous Polish pianist and composer .
